Kelly Rowland joins Beyonce for the filming of 'Party'!!

The ladies of DESTINY seem to be inseparable these days--just like old times one would gather.  Beyonce showed her support at Kelly's 'Here I Am' album release last week.  Then earlier this week both ladies were out to support Jay-Z and Kanye's upcoming project, 'Watch the Throne' in NYC, and again the ladies are paling around on the set of Beyonce's latest visual, 'Party' which features the ubiquitous Andre' 3000 & Kanye West.  The ladies have indeed been busy promoting there albums.  Congrats to Kelly Rowland for debuting at #3 on Billboard, and also congrats to Beyonce's '4' for being certified Platinum!  Both ladies have a lot to smile about these days.  Check out some pics from the set:

Beyonce is also gearing up to shoot the video for 'Countdown' with director, Adria Petty.  Petty was also at the helm for the making of Beyonce's 'Sweet Dreams'. 

BEEF? What Beef? Kelly & Beyonce /Jay-Z & Kanye come TOGETHER in NYC!

The media would rather see people at odds with each other as opposed to in harmony.  In some instances, some outlets will try to conjure up a beef where none exists.  The media will perpetually compare Beyonce to Kelly and try to manufacture tension with Jay-Z & Kanye as if two pairs of great talents can't coexist together and both SHINE.  Well I guess the naysayers will be silenced for a little while at least.  Kelly and Beyonce , Kanye and Jay-Z all came together at one event! 

What parallel universe is this that made this happen?  Kelly and Beyonce were both in NYC this week promoting their albums 'Here I Am', and '4' respectively, when they reunited again.  This time they united to support Jay-Z & Kanye West at their 'Watch the Throne' listening party! This is too much starpower in one room! Wow~!

For some reason, I got left off of this list as well.  I am sure it was an oversight on  Mr.West and Mr. Carter's people,and I do forgive you this time and this time only. But take a look at some of the pics from this star-studded event!  Oh and Solange was there too.

With STELLAR releases from both Kelly & Beyonce and the anticipation of 'The Throne' project, the summer is shaping up quite nicely!

Beyonce's '4' certified PLATINUM!

Beyonce' has something to be happy about today.  The international diva's latest music offering, '4' has been certified PLATINUM as of today by the RIAA.  So congrats are in order for Beyonce for scoring another platinum plaque!

Beyonce RULES Billboard with 3 albums charting SIMULTANEOUSLY!

Hate it or love it, KING Beyonce obviously RUNS THE WORLD!  At least she is running the Billboard charts at present.  The Pop star who's fourth album '4' debuted at #1  but guess what else the artist was able to do that few can boast?  It appears that 2008’s ‘I Am Sasha Fierce’ and 2003’s ‘Dangerously In Love’ have both re-entered the charts this week at #90 and #168 respectively.


Beyonce celebrates having 3 albums on Billboard simultaneously.  The success of her current disc has garnered interest for her past albums.  So much interest and buzz that it cause those albums to crack Billboard's Hot 200 list.  That is really an amazing accomplishment and the artist should be congratulated on her success.  Maybe 'Bday' will see a surge back on the charts as well.  We will wait and she if it does!  Again, congratulations are in order for Beyonce!

Beyonce's '4' debuts at #1 on Billboard!!

Congratulations are in order for POP DIVA Beyonce! Beyonce scores yet another # 1 debut with the release of '4'!  Beyonce, despite having her album leak 3 weeks early pushed 317,000 units!!!  Although this is lower than her previous releases, Beyonce still had an impressive week. 

Despite how it looks numerically, '4' still managed to post better out-of-the-gate sales than such other high-profile 2011 releases as Chris Brown’s F.A.M.E. (270,000) and Britney Spears’ Femme Fatale (276,000), and the album now has the third-highest debut of the year, behind Lady Gaga’s Born This Way (1.1 million) and Adele’s 21 (352,000). Billboard also notes that Bey is only the third act ever (after Britney and DMX) to see their first four albums debut at #1.

'Destiny' Dual? Kelly vs. Beyonce

Is there a 'Destiny's Child Dual?

Most likely not.  The two divas may always seem to come back out solo head to head, but if there is any competition, it is a sisterly, healthy type of competition.  The two have spoken on numerous occasions of how they support, love and respect each other's craft. There is room for both of the ladies on the scene at the same time. Right?

Music has been circulating around from Kelly.  Fans and critics alike are eagerly waiting to see what the follow-up single for the char-topping 'Motivation' will be.  There is no official second single as of yet.

And at press time, Beyonce's '4' leaked on the Internet a few days ago.  There was speculation that a secret emergency meeting was called to revamp the album due to the leak, or scrap it all together and start over.  These rumors have not be substantiated yet.  So as we wait to see what's next for the Ladies of 'Destiny'.  Let's take it back with some throwback jams from BOTH divas!

Beyonce NEW SINGLE: 'Best Thing I Never Had'-1st Listen!!

Beyonce comes back hard with a power ballad reminiscent of 'Irreplacable' where she pines over a love that was never meant to be.  The 'kiss-off' anthem is entitled "Best I Never Had".

The track was written by Babyface, J. Que Smith and Tony Dixon, and was produced by Symbolyc One (responsible for Kanye West’s “Power.”).

New BEYONCE single due out THIS WEEK! And its not what you think!

The world just can't get enough of Beyonce!  Beyonce sets trends, then breaks them goes left and stars new trends.  Hot off the success of the video 'Run the World(Girls), and winning the Millineum Award at this year's Billboard Music Awards, Beyonce is not stopping.  Beyonce's camp is readying the 2nd official single from the album, '4'.  Although 'Until the End of Time' has been floating around the net.  And Bey gave an emotional and moving performance of '1+1' on the American Idol finale last week, neither of those are single #2.

So, what does Bey have up her sleeves now?
Sources are saying that the next official single will the the BabyFace-penned 'Best thing I ever Had'.

Song 2. The second song they played for us was another mid-tempo ballad. In the track Beyonce sings, “You don’t deserve my tears,” “Thank God you blew it,” “Sucks to be you right now” and more. Reminded us of “Irreplaceable” with the song content but overall the song was good. Beyonce said BabyFace wrote the track for her and told CL exclusively that she was“very emotional in the studio while recording”.

Hmm, sucks to be anybody else right now, once Beyonce's cd drops, all of the idle chatter is sure to cease and true talent, devoid of gimmicky costumes and outlandish acts to garner attention not needed.   True talent and vocal ability will stand alone at the top. You can't really ever be steered wrong with BabyFace at the helm. This is sure to be another smash!
