"Men always say they understand but they don't rly do, they just close one eye. While women get frustrated over the most lil things."

Last night, was msging halfway & I fell asleep. I need to get a new book really soon cos the current one I'm reading is finishing. Went to church this morning. The church is the only place I find solace in, away from this world so full of confusion & whatever you name it.. Dad fetched us back. My daddy is still so fit, I love to ask him to carry me, especially with one hand only [: I love you dad, forever I will. Came home, did a lil of my work, rested for awhile & had tuition. I'm pretty tired now. I'm too lazy to touch my books. MID YEARS, MID YEARS, MID YEARS, boy this is driving me nuts. Sis is going to move to my grammy's place cos its nearer to her school. But I know she'll come back. I'll miss her ): I mean we both share everything & anything together. We grew up together & now that she's going away from me, I feel sad ): I love you twin.

Anyway, I love reading the reflect section in lifestyle every sunday. Those who have not yet read it, go read it now! Ask yourself: "Shld my life end suddenly tmrw, would I have been happy with the way I lived?" Will you alter the course of your lives just to achieve happiness? Mmm..

Life is like a rat race where everyone buries their heads in endless piles of notes & trying to beat everyone in anything whenever the term competition comes in. Is this what life is all about? Paper chasing & qualifications- is it all these mere awards that determines us of our positions in life? It's pretty sad that since young, we've been taught by our parents that if we fail to do well, we can might as well give up our entire life as we would just be depleting the Earth's resources if we continue occupying the area on the circumference & denying someone of better capabilities. Education may be the utmost determining factor in everyones life now. No doubt, it makes life a better one. Education brings about emancipation & liberation of traditional cultures, allowing one another to learn more about each other even without having to pay for an air tickets or swim cross any ocean.

It has indeed brought us a great deal of change but sometimes, it just sucks. With the impending pressure that constantly forces our head down on the ground for a particular reason which is commonly known as not being able to perform well in the exams. How do we really, or rather the world, define success; excellence? Don't they find it ridiculous that all our life, we're just chasing after papers that by human modification, the power of the paper itself is being increased. When we're young, we study hard for good qualifications. We need to clear our PSLE, followed by O levels. After which, there would be this huge turning point in our lives where we choose to head to JC, CI, POLY or ITE which very much the last option is being regard as the lousiest.

Lets take the example of someone who headed to do his A levels. Once he has qualified for university, he would then be pursing his PhD or Masters & so on & so forth. Once he enters the working society, he would then use his paper qualifications which are endosed by the various schools to get a job. During his job, he would strive hard for papers too, known as moolahs. It's really scary that humans we, have so much power in everything & can almost manipulate all the machines that have been invented can be ridiculously foolish to chase after papers their whole lives. Is paper really that important? Are qualifications the only thing that can bring confidence & glory to someone? I reckoned the statement whenever someone says "Humans are the most foolish beings on earth."

I shall end here. I'm trying my very best to stay away from the comp for the whole of next week. Cos I have to mug! Take care people. xoxo

When I'm all alone, will you appear in my sight?

I'm just a singer, you're the world.
