Patton Oswalt at Caroline's

For some reason, I love going to the movies, eating dinner and generally going about my business alone. I do these things with friends, too, but I have no qualms about solo-ing it and actually prefer it so I can make my own schedule. But the idea of going to a comedy show at a big venue, versus a small one where I'm sure to know people...I feel like a loser.

Not sure if it'll happen, but I do want to go see Patton Oswalt at Caroline's. I reviewed his book Zombie Spaceship Wasteland for Penthouse and really liked it.

Sweet, the long-running weekly show hosted by Seth Herzog, with guest apperances by his mom and basically every comedian around, is on hold because of the renovations at The Slipper Room. So don't miss this great show on Wednesday at Comix. I'm not reviving my long-dead comedy blog or anything, but I'll be there.

I think my favorites were Hannibal Buress and Jess Woods but it's all pretty damn funny.
