Good news for Kimmy Blanco. The rap pioneer has inked a deal with The Universal Music Group. Congratulations go out to Lil' Kim. This appears to be a very promising venture. I poke fun at Lil' Kim from time to time, but it is undeniable that the 'pint-sized' rapper can pack a punch on the mic. Her track record speaks volumes and hopefully this major label backing can put the Queen back on top of her game. Interestingly enough, now with this new venture, could there possibly be a 'reunion' of sorts with rap 'rival' Nicki Minaj? Universal Music is the home for Cash Money/Young Money. Cash Money/Young Money is the home of Minaj. So, minus a few degrees of separation, the two could cross paths?
Maybe that much talked about collaboration that never came to be? Wouldn't that be EPIC? Stranger things have happened... Kim did say that she would work with Minaj for 7mill. Maybe now that they are labelmates, that astronomical fee will drastically evaporate?
'Everywhere we go'- Lil' Kim & Nicki Minaj
Cross your fingers....
