ROSEMEAD, Calif. (KTLA) -- A man was arrested Thursday after allegedly using drugs to sedate a co-worker and rape her in a Rosemead hotel room.
Deputies received a call from a woman Thursday who said she woke up naked in a hotel room in Rosemead.
She claimed she went to a night club with a co-worker the night before but did not remember anything after that.
Surveillance video showed the suspect, identified as Ming He, carrying the victim into a room. She appeared to be unconscious.
He later left the room by himself.
According to a press release, He called the victim and admitted to drugging her with Ketamine, also know as "K" or the "date rape drug," and having sex with her. He, 27, also offered her money to keep her quiet.
He was arrested by investigators Thursday evening. He was in possession of Ketamine at the time of arrest.
He was booked on charges of rape by use of drugs and possession of drugs.
He is being held on $100,000 bail.
