Cystic fibrosis patient becomes top model after talent scout spots her at hospital

A woman with cystic fibrosis has become a model after she was spotted by a talent scout when she attended hospital for treatment. Cassie Hawthorne, 22, had been visiting Birmingham Children's Hospital to receive treatment for the condition. She agreed to have her picture taken for the hospital's annual book and the photographer recommended she visit his studio.
