Obama Press Sec Jay Carney: "The White House Doesn't Create Jobs"

Re-he-he-he-heeeelayyy. That's sure not what they said after Obama was emaculated into office in 2009. I'm pretty sure in fact that he promised that spending $1.2 trillion on the stimulus boondoggle (including interest since it was all borrowed) would create 3.5 million NEW jobs. Instead, 3 million jobs have been lost, the unemployment rate skyrocketed, is still above 9%, and we have a massive debt to boot. So Carney is right about this White House:
Well, the White House doesn't create jobs. The government together -- White House, Congress -- creates policies that allow for greater job creation. And that can be through tax cuts, for example, for working Americans; everyone who works pays a payroll tax. And the tax cut that this President pushed for, for one year, for this calendar year, he's pushing for to be extended next year.
Hang into that quote the next time Dems want to raise taxes, which will likely be tomorrow. Obama's efforts have culminated so far in this: White House on worst market drop since 2008: ‘Markets go up and down’
