This relates directly to my post from April: Good News: US Inflation Actually 10%. I noticed during my weekly shopping trips that cheese went up by at least 20% from just weeks ago. Milk up 10%. Plus gas at almost $4 per gallon. So how is inflation said to be flat? Easy - they changed the way the inflation is calculated to not include either energy or food. Uh - what? How could those two things not be included? Especially energy prices that are the cause for the increase food cost? Also from back in February: Good News: Food spike puts 44 million in poverty. Thanks Obama for this:
All those liberal talking heads that say hyperinflation due to Obama's printing money (aka - quantitative easing) will not lead to inflation need only look at the skyrocketing cost of food, a commodity not taken into account in calculating the CPI.
