International students are one of the most important elements in the UK education since they are valuable resources both culturally and economically. However, the UK government is to close down the tier 1 post-study work visas for international students. This change is due to come into effect very soon. Therefore, all international students who are near to graduation must return to their home countries, no matter whether or not they wish to stay in the UK. Post Study Visas are really important for international students since they give them an opportunity to gain experience in the UK.
The National Union of Students is set to defend the rights of international students by showing evidence to the UK government that the vast majority of international students in the UK are unhappy with the cancelation of PSW (Post Study Work visas). NUS has sent a survey to all Universities and institutions across the UK in order to gather the strongest document possible present to the government. For this, the NUS needs as many international students as possible to get involved and support their cause by completing this survey and help to protect all international students in the UK on Post Study Work Visas who will be affected by the policy change.
The NUS survey link is as follows below:

The deadline for completing this survey is the 31 Jan. Completing this survey will only take a few minutes, so if you are an international student at college or university, please complete this survey and ask your international students to take part in this cause and please spread the word.
NUS has set up a E-petition against the proposed changes in policy. A link to this petition is provided below, and we would like as many people as possible, whether they are international or home students to support us by signing this petition and supporting our cause.
